Refunds, Payments & Transaction Policy

Effective Date: 29 May 2026

This Refunds Policy applies to all financial transactions conducted through Nexus City TV (“Nexus City TV”, “NCTV”, “Platform”, “we”, “us”, “our”), including but not limited to:

  • Online shop purchases
  • Creator store transactions
  • Subscriptions
  • Membership payments
  • Digital services
  • Livestream monetisation features
  • Any other paid feature or service on the Platform

By making any payment on Nexus City TV, you agree to this Policy in full.

1. Core Principle: No Refunds From Nexus City TV

1.1 Platform Non-Refund Position

Nexus City TV does NOT issue refunds under any circumstances for shop purchases, subscription payments, digital services, membership fees, creator support payments, livestream donations or paid interactions, or any third-party seller transactions. All payments are considered final, non-reversible via the Platform, and non-refundable by Nexus City TV.

1.2 Platform Role Clarification

Nexus City TV is strictly a technology platform and payment facilitator interface, not a retailer, seller, buyer, merchant of record (for user stores), product supplier, or delivery agent. All commercial transactions occur directly between users.

2. Online Store Transactions (Buyer–Seller Relationship)

2.1 Direct Contract Between Users

When a customer purchases from a shop, the contract is strictly between buyer and seller. Nexus City TV is NOT a party to the transaction and does NOT guarantee product delivery or quality.

2.2 Refund Responsibility

If a customer requests a refund, the customer MUST contact the seller directly. The seller is solely responsible for handling refunds. Nexus City TV has NO obligation to mediate or process refunds.

2.3 Non-Delivery or Scam Claims

If a customer believes they were scammed, defrauded, not delivered goods, or sold defective products, the customer must contact the shop directly and attempt resolution with the seller. Nexus City TV will NOT refund the customer, pay the customer, replace goods, or guarantee recovery of funds.

2.4 Optional Reporting to Platform

Customers may optionally report misconduct to Nexus City TV. Where reports are made, Nexus City TV may investigate the shop account, suspend or remove the store, permanently ban the user, and block future transactions. However, Nexus City TV remains NOT financially liable, NOT responsible for refund enforcement, and NOT required to mediate disputes.

3. Subscriptions & Digital Payments

3.1 No Refund Policy for Subscriptions

All subscription payments are final and non-refundable, non-cancellable retroactively, and charged for access already provided. Partial refunds are not offered and missed usage does not qualify for refunds.

3.2 Cancellation

Users may cancel subscriptions at any time, however cancellation stops future billing only and does not refund previous payments.

3.3 Chargebacks

Any chargeback attempt without prior resolution with Nexus City TV may result in account suspension, loss of access to services, permanent ban from Platform, and recovery action against user account.

4. Creator Payments & Monetisation

4.1 Earnings Policy

Creator earnings are based on platform metrics, subject to verification, and subject to fraud checks.

4.2 Reversals

Nexus City TV reserves the right to reverse payments in cases of fraud, withhold funds during investigations, and adjust balances for invalid activity.

5. Platform Commission (Marketplace)

Nexus City TV charges 1% commission per completed transaction (cart/checkout/payment). This fee is non-refundable, applies regardless of dispute outcomes, and is deducted automatically.

6. Fraud, Scams & Misuse

6.1 Seller Misconduct

If a shop is found to be scamming customers, selling counterfeit goods, not delivering products, or misrepresenting products, Nexus City TV may remove products or stores, suspend accounts, permanently ban users, and block payment access.

6.2 No Financial Liability

Even in cases of fraud, Nexus City TV does NOT refund customers, compensate losses, assume seller debt, or act as guarantor. All financial liability remains with the seller.

7. Dispute Handling Policy

7.1 Primary Resolution Requirement

All disputes must be resolved directly between buyer and seller.

7.2 Platform Involvement

Nexus City TV may optionally review complaints, investigate abuse, and take disciplinary action. But we do NOT mediate payment disputes, enforce refunds, or act as arbitrator of money claims.

8. Hold Harmless & Indemnity

Users agree to fully indemnify and hold harmless Nexus City TV, its directors, employees, moderators, contractors, and technology partners against ALL claims including payment disputes, refund demands, fraud allegations, chargebacks, consumer complaints, financial losses, legal claims, court actions, and regulatory investigations. Users accept full responsibility for all transactions conducted under their account.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, Nexus City TV is NOT liable for failed deliveries, non-refundable payments, fraudulent sellers, lost funds, subscription dissatisfaction, product quality issues, transaction disputes, or payment errors. Use of the Platform is entirely at the user's own risk.

10. No Guarantee of Transaction Outcome

Nexus City TV does NOT guarantee product delivery, seller honesty, refund availability, payment recovery, transaction success, or service satisfaction.

11. Risk Acknowledgement

By using Nexus City TV payment systems, users acknowledge they are entering into direct agreements with other users, Nexus City TV is not responsible for financial disputes, all payments are made at their own risk, and they waive claims against Nexus City TV for transactional issues.

12. Policy Changes

Nexus City TV may update this Refunds Policy at any time, without notice, without approval. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

14. Final Acknowledgement

By using Nexus City TV, you confirm that you understand there are NO refunds from the Platform, you accept that all shop transactions are between users only, you agree Nexus City TV is not financially responsible for disputes, you accept full risk for all payments made, and you agree to hold Nexus City TV harmless from all claims relating to money, refunds, or transactions.
